Lets backtrack a bit...

I can't believe how long its been since I've posted pictures....so, here is a quick update!

Zach is doing great! He has (knock on wood) past his fussy stage! This was a little hard to get used to because Mackenzie "never" cried, but luckily his fussy stage just lasted a few weeks! He is becoming more active and is alert more of the time now. He LOVES playing with his hanging toys! And, the best part of all is seeing his face when he sees Boo! He automatically lights up when he sees or hears her!

Boo is also doing great! She is busy making her Christmas list for Santa! So far she wants a "big tv to hang on her bedroom wall just like daddy and a flashlight!" I have told her that Santa's sleigh isn't big enough for the tv, but maybe he could get her a flashlight:) This past week, she has also discovered that she can open doors now....by herself! UGGGHHHHH! She has never had an interest in opening doors (nor did I want her to have one), but for some reason, last week she decided she wanted to open the closet door to get out some toys! Well, this lead to all sorts of things! My good sleeper is now getting up anywhere from 5-6am, opening her door and running down the hall shouting "Good morning everyone. I open my way out door!" She is too smart for her own good....I told her that she may not open her bedroom door or her closet door without Mommy or Daddy there....so, she has renamed her bedroom door her "way out door!"

Pictures Part 2

Here are a few more!

Holiday Pictures

We had our holiday pictures made on Saturday! Even though we had to wait and wait, by the time it was our turn, we were good to go (aka no crying kids)! Mackenzie loves having her picture taken while Zach makes you work for a smile! All in all they did great....here is a small look at some of our favorite pictures!

Trick or Treat time!

First off....a HUGE thank you goes to Aunt Cathy for all her help on Halloween night! Without her, I don't know what we would have done! Thank you Aunt Cathy for coming over and helping us take Boo Trick or Treating...you are the best!!

Boo LOVED Trick or Treating last night! Oh my goodness, did she love it! Her best friend Skyler came with us, along with Zach and Greyson. When we started out, she would ring the doorbell, and sometimes she would say trick or treat, and other times she wouldn't say anything, but she always picked out a treat. As soon as she would get a treat, she would RUN to Aunt Cathy or I and say "I got a treat...next house!" She was ready to go! Over and over she would say "next house" or "lets go!" I think we have a professional trick or treater on our hands:) Oh, and the reason she looks so sad in the above picture is because she was ready to go, but I just kept taking pictures:)

Pumpkin Carving

We had so much fun carving our pumpkins the other night! Boo loved using the spoon to get the guts out of the pumpkin....although she didn't really like getting her hands dirty! Zach watched the whole thing, and just loved his pumpkin:)

Yeah for #2!!!!

We are so excited....Boo pooped in the potty again this weekend! This time, I had the camera ready:) In the picture, she is yelling "I poop! I poop my potty! I get a prize!" Who said a little bribery doesn't work:)

Halloween Parade

Our neighborhood had a Halloween Parade this weekend for all the kids. It was a lot of fun, but I think it was a little over Boo's head. Maybe next year she will get more into it....some of the costumes were a little scary for her. We dressed Boo (a monkey) and Zach (a duck) up, and had a good time seeing everyone! As you can see from the pictures, Zach really doesn't like being a duck:)

Week 7 Pics

Last week was a busy week for us! We spent many days at home waiting for the shower repair people to show (and they have yet to come), so there aren't to many pictures for this week. We did make it out to the library one day where Boo had a blast playing on the computers. I feel a little better letting her "get to know the keyboard" (aka beating the buttons as hard as she can) when we don't own it;)! We also had our Halloween pictures taken....Boo was a ham the whole time, while Zach screamed! Needless to say, he was not happy that I dressed him as a duck for his first picture! Stay posted, and Greg will post our Halloween pictures soon!

Week 6 Pics

Not much new to report here, but here a few pictures of Zach!

Funny Girl

The other day Greg and I were talking when all of a sudden Boo started saying "you no listen to me...you go time out!" We both looked at each other and as we are trying to figure out what she is doing, she says it again, but this time much louder! We look over at her, and she is putting all of her toy trains in time out on the train table. The funniest part is, she put each train in a separate corner, and when "time out" was over she told one train "tell me you sooroy and you play now." How funny:)

Boo's Big Weekend Adventure

This past weekend for Boo was a big one. Why? Because this past weekend Boo went and stayed with Gramma and Papa at their house in Burlington. And by the looks of these pictures from the park, I would say that Boo had a great time. She rode the horses, drove the cars, floated her boat and even flew an airplane this weekend. Sure was a great trip for the Boo. Thank you Gramma Papa for having me.

Updates...

Zach.....
He had his 1 month appointment last week, and is doing really well. He is almost 11 lbs! The Dr. gave him a prescription for Reflux that he was been taking, although we are not sure it is helping things. He LOVES his big sister! She gets down on the floor to play with him, and as soon as he sees her, he smiles:) She calls him her Buddy!

Boo....
The whole potty thing isn't going to well, but we are hanging in there. There were a few times where she did use the potty this week, but would rather just wear her diapers. She did come up to me a couple of times telling me that she had to go, so that is good news. We will continue working on the whole potty learning thing this week:)

State Fair

We went to the state fair today where we quickly learned 2 things.....1. The fair is a rip-off. Mackenzie rode 1 ride that we felt was "safe" for her, but b/c she is still small, Greg had to ride with her...well that meant 2x the tickets! I couldn't believe that he had to use tickets for himself! The second thing that we learned is never go to the fair the first weekend it is open! The lines were so long that we didn't even bother trying to find another ride for Boo. Maybe next year when Zach is older, we can go during the day when I don't need the extra pair of hands:)

Zach is 5 weeks old!

Here are a couple of pictures of Zach from this week! He sure is getting big!

Where's Mackenzie?

When I went to get Boo up from her nap the other day, this is what I found! She had literally taken out every stuff doll/toy that she owns and put them on her bed. When I asked her what she had done she said "my friends go night night too....shhssshhh...they sleepin'." Funny girl:)

No Picture....but HUGE news!!!

This is so blog worthy.....I just had to share....please forgive me:)

Last night, Boo announced that she had to poop and took off running towards her potty. As soon as we got to the bathroom, she helped take off her diaper and then told me to leave. I closed the bathroom door and a few seconds later she called for me to come back in. I asked her if she pooped, and like always, she said that she did....only this time SHE REALLY DID!!!!! YEAH BOOSKIE!!!!! She was so proud of herself....it also helped that Auntie Marie was here and helped mommy and daddy really make a big deal of the poop:)

So this week is our go time for potty "learning." Wish us luck;)

Special Quilt

Aunt Cathy surprised us on Saturday with a special gift she had for Zach! She made him a quilt (yes, by hand, and by herself)!!!! I was totally floored! The quilt is AWESOME!!!! We had no clue that she was making it! I haven't let Zach use it yet, because it is too nice to have spit-up and pee all over it:) Even though she assures me that the quilt can be washed....I'm just not ready to let this awesome, priceless gift get dirty!!! THANK YOU AUNT CATHY!!!! YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!

Week 4 Pictures

Here are a couple of pictures from today....Zach is 4 weeks old:)

Road Trip

We made our first road trip this week to visit Boo's best friend Skyler! They moved to their new house about 45mins. away the first weekend of September! Boo was so excited to see Skyler and her new house, and had the best time playing with her friend:)

Week 3 Pictures

Here are just a couple pictures of Zach at 3 weeks old!
