Last week, we went to the Mother's Day Tea at Lulu's nursing home. Mackenzie was so excited to dress up and wear her "tea" hat. When we got there, Lulu did not have her hat on, and Boo was not ok with this. She told Meme "We have to get Lulu's tea hat because this is a tea party and we wear tea hats to tea party's." So after Meme and Boo went to find Lulu's tea hat, she was ready to eat:) Zach had a great time just hanging out in the stroller flirting with all the ladies!

Mother's Day Tea Party with Lulu

When we got there, Lulu did not have her hat on, and Boo was not ok with this. She told Meme "We have to get Lulu's tea hat because this is a tea party and we wear tea hats to tea party's." Zach is 8 months!
Okay, I know you are thinking that I say this a lot when it comes to this blog but, boy does time fly! Zach turned 8 months old last week...and he is moving in all directions! About 3 weeks ago, he graduated from the Army man crawl to regular crawling. Then last week he decided that it was time that he started pulling himself to a stand!!! Sorry the pictures aren't that great in the crib, but I was trying to catch him in action!
His favorite thing to do know is stand up and look out the windows! Oh, and yes, his shirt is buttoned outside his pants...Boo helped me dress him and "insisted" that this is the way that it goes:)
And this weeks trick...yep, crawling up the stairs!!! I could not believe that he did it! Boo went upstairs to get something, and I guess Zach decided that he needed to help her because the next thing I knew, Zach was 3 steps up!!! He has now done this several times which means...time to go to Home Depot and buy some new gates!!!!
Beach Trip to the Outer Banks
Earlier this month, we went to the Outer Banks with Uncle Chris, Aunt Jamie, Mia and Aunt Jamie's family. We had such a great time, and Boo really liked having a ton of playtime with Mia! While we were there, Greg and I took the kids to the top of Jockey's Ridge. It was quite a hike carrying Zach all that way (he is so heavy...)! Boo climbed the whole thing herself! At the top, she just kept saying over and over "Can you believe this sand box!"
This picture below is for Uncle Chris (the other one:)! We ate at his favorite restaurant! They have the best food ever!! Yum! Sorry you weren't with us Chris...but we thought of you!
