Diva Boo
Mackenzie is really into dress up play these days. Greg tried to get a picture of Diva Boo the other day, but she wasn't going to let it happen:) Oh well....
Play-doh
Mackenzie had a blast playing with Play-doh yesterday! I put her in her highchair with a thing of play-doh, a plastic knife and fork, and a cookie cutter and she went to town! She would "cut" the play-doh and then hold it up and say "what this mama?" She played with the play-doh for an hour, making all sorts of fun things:)

Boo loves her Charlie!
For those of you who don't know...I'm a HUGE Charlie Gibson fan! Boo and I used to watch him every morning on Good Morning America, and now we just get to see him on the evening news. Every night we turn on the nightly news, say "Hello" to Charlie and then turn it off (GMA was "safe" for a toddler to watch, but the nightly news is not very suitable). The other night, when the news came on, there was another person doing it. Without Greg or I saying anything, Boo said "uh-oh, where Charlie go!" This actually happened 2 nights in a row:) After the 2nd night we told her that we didn't know where Charlie was. She quickly jumped up on the couch and pointed to the picture on the mantel of me and Charlie. She then said "there mama and Charlie!"
OK...one more Charlie story......last night he came on tv to announce the State of the Union Address coming on...Boo got REALLY excited and started jumping up and down on the bed saying "there Charlie" over and over!

Playspace
Boo and I went to Playspace today with Skylar and Wendy. It was the first time the girls had seen each other in over a week, so they were very excited to see each other! As soon as we got there, Boo took off towards the water! She loves playing in the water with all the different toys....even though the smock is 4x her size, she still manages to stay pretty dry:) After exploring every station, we went to the art room to paint! Mackenzie had a blast....she didn't want to leave!

Snow Day!
Boo saw her first snow today! Because of all the red mud around (from all the construction going on) we didn't go outside...but brought the outside in:) I filled up a huge plastic bin with snow and put it on the kitchen floor for Boo to play with! Her first reaction was "oohh cold!" She then decided to taste the snow to which she said "uhmm good...I more!" She was covered by the time she was done playing!

Uncle Chris and the park
Christmas #3
On the day after Christmas, we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house to celebrate. Mackenzie was able to see her Uncle Chris, Aunt Jamie, and her new cousin Mia there too! After she helped Grandma pass out all the Christmas presents, Mackenzie took her seat in the big chair and started opening her gifts. Her favorite thing was the new doll house she opened! It had to come out of the box as soon as she unwrapped it!
Christmas #2
Christmas #1
When Boo woke up Christmas morning, she saw that Santa had come and left her many, many things! As a "tradition" in my family growing up, the first picture taken was of her sitting on the steps, waiting to see what Santa had brought...then it was a race to see how fast she could open her presents. She was very excited about her bike and her new train set!
