Zach meets Lulu

I took Zach and Mackenzie to Lulu's yesterday, so she could meet her newest great grandbaby! She was so excited when we got there! It was a surprise visit, so you can see from the pictures that she hadn't quite made it out of bed yet (and yes, we were there at 10:30am)!! We stayed for a good while in the hopes that Zach would wake up long enough for Lulu to see his eyes open, but he was just too sleepy!

Over the past couple of days, Zach has really started to make some funny facial expressions! I finally caught him in the act with the camera ready!

Pumpkin Patch

We had a field trip today to a pumpkin farm with Meme! Boo had so much fun running all over the place! We took a hayride which she loved, and Zach seemed to really enjoy too! Then it was off to find a "little" pumpkin! She must have picked up a dozen pumpkins before she found the one that was (in her words) "just right!" Thank you Meme for taking us to the pumpkin farm again!

Pullen Park....again!

When we asked Boo what she wanted to do today, she told us that she wanted to go to Aunt Cathy's park....also known as Pullen Park! So, we packed a lunch and all our gear, and we were off for another trip to the park! She was so excited when we got there...she told us where to go to get the tickets and where to go to see the ducks, and everything else. We rode the train 2 times and the last time, baby Zach got to go too! Oh, and yes, Zach slept the whole time at the park:)

Another playground

We spent Saturday morning at a new playground! Mackenzie had so much fun playing and trying out all the different equipment! I think her favorite thing was the big slide! She kept going down it over and over again! Oh, and yes, Zach slept the whole time....again:)

Zach is 1 week old!

Wow! Time sure does fly by....Zach is already 1 week old! To celebrate his day, we spent the morning at the neighborhood playground! He slept the whole time, but Boo had a blast playing!

Boo at Pullen Park

A HUGE thanks goes out to Aunt Cathy for really helping us out with Boo while I was in the hospital! She went out of her way to make sure Mackenzie was spoiled rotten and getting lots of attention during this time of change:) Thanks Cathy! On one of their many outings, Cathy took Boo to Pullen Park where she was able to ride rides and play on the playground. Here are some pictures from their fun day!

In August, Aunt Jamie and Uncle Chris went to Hawaii on a long vacation! When they came back, they brought Boo a Hula Girl outfit! She LOVES to wear it and dances all over the place in it!

July 4th 2007

Ok, so this is a few months late....here goes!

We spent the week of July 4th with Auntie Marie and Uncle Charlie at the beach! We had a blast, although I was a little lazy in the picture taking department! Here are just a couple of pictures of Boo at the beach!

2nd Zoo Trip

Last week, we made a very unplanned, last minute trip to the zoo with Meme. Meme literally found out last minute that she could use the zoo pass, but had to have it back to the company in less than 24hours... SO.......with some quick packing, we were off to the zoo for the day! Mackenzie LOVED the zoo this time....almost all the animals were out and she was able to see them up close. Her favorites seemed to be the giraffes and the elephants. We also rode the tram for the first time during this visit. At first Boo would only sit on Meme's lap, but by the end of the day, she wanted her own seat. Hopefully the next time the zoo pass becomes available, we will have more time to plan and take some other people with us for a fun time!

Oh...and in the picture with Meme and Boo looking at the monkeys, Boo is laughing b/c a monkey just pooped in front of the glass...and she thought that was SO funny!

Race for the Cure

We made our annual trip to The Race for the Cure yesterday! Each year Mackenzie has a special t-shirt on that we make for Meme....and this year's shirt was a big hit! Although we didn't actually "race" this year, it is fun to go out and support Meme and all the other survivors out there! Can't wait to see what next year's shirt says! Pool Time

Our neighborhood pool opened on Memorial Day and we have gone pretty much everyday since! We invited Skyler, Greyson, and Wendy come join Boo, Mia, and I the other day before it got too hot! The girls had so much fun splashing around together and taking turns using the different watering cans. I'm sure there will be many more pool pictures to come over the next couple of months, so stay tuned.....

2 Year Old Pictures......2 months late!

We were finally able to have Mackenzie's 2 year old pictures taken last weekend.....only 2 months late:) We've had so much going on the past couple of months, that it was hard to schedule an appointment that fit our schedule! Here are just a couple of the proofs from that day!

Sesame Street Live

We went to see Sesame Street Live last weekend with Mackenzie and her best friend Skyler! The girls had so much fun together! Mom was able to get us the box seats for her company so we had great seats. The girls would see Elmo on stage and yell to him, and then just laugh and laugh together. The show was really neat and Mackenzie was so excited to see Elmo, Big Bird, and Cookie Monster!
