Christmas Photos

Here are a couple pictures of Boo taken infront of Mom and Dad's Christmas tree. We all got together the other week so that Mom and Dad could take their picture with the grandkids for their Christmas photo....this has to be the first time in 30 years that their Christmas photo was NOT of their kids! Thank goodness for the grandkids:)!!!

Oh, and for those of you wondering if you will be seeing a picture of Mackenzie with Santa, not this year:) We have taken her 2 times to 2 different malls to see him, and everytime we get close, she throws a fit! Oh well, maybe next year:)

Mackenzie's Year in Review

It's hard to believe that 2006 is almost over! Here are some pictures of her that we have taken over the year! Enjoy:)

One Eye Boo

Last month, Boo had a bug bite on her eyebrow of all places! She didn't care, and it didn't seem to bother her in the least bit! But, for about 2 days, her eye was swollen big time....it looked like she had been punched in the eye! So of course, I had to take her picture:)

Happy Halloween!

Mackenzie and Thomas went Trick-or-Treating together last night for the 1st time! They were so cute running up and down the sidewalk carrying their pumpkins! We went to about 10 houses before they showed signs of being done:) Thomas loved eating his M&M's, while Boo didn't want anything to come out of her pumpkin!

New Cousin

Mackenzie has a new cousin! Mia was born really early Saturday morning, and is doing great! When Mackenzie saw her new cousin in the hospital, she would point to her and say baby! I keep showing her the pictures we took from that day, and everytime she sees them, she gets really excited and yells baby....she has also been trying to say Chris, since Uncle Chris is in the picture with the baby:)

Pumpkin Farm and Hay Rides

I took Mackenzie to her first Pumpkin Farm this week, and we were lucky that Grammy was able to go with us! This farm had so much to see and do! She played in a bounce house, went down an 80 foot slide (with Mommy of course), saw goats and ducks, and took her first hay ride! She LOVED the hay ride! She didn't want to get off, but did when she saw all the pumpkins in the field. We had a great time at the farm!

My Gym

Every Thursday, Mackenzie goes to My Gym. It is this cool place where she can do gymnastics, climbing, etc. As soon as she gets inside the gym, she takes off RUNNING. Her favorite things so far seem to be the trampoline, the swings, and the ball pit.

Mud Pies

After dinner, we like to take Boo outside to play. One day last week, after dinner instead of playing on her push toys like she normally does, Boo decided to play in the dirt across from the driveway. She quickly discovered that there was a huge puddle she could splash in! Long story short, Boo had her first experience making mudpies.....and she had a blast!

Sleepy Dinner

The other night, Boo was in her high chair eating her dinner, while Greg and I were in the kitchen trying to figure out what we were going to have when we noticed that Boo wasn't making any noise. We turned to check on her, and she had fallen asleep in her yogurt! She must have been worn out!

Great Grandparents

After the zoo, we stopped in to say hello to Mackenzie's Great Grandparents who lived near by. She took a few minutes to warm up, but then made herself at home:) She had lots of playing with all of Great Grandma's teddy bears!

Zoo Trip

We took Mackenzie to the zoo yesterday for the first time, and boy did she have so much fun! The past week we have been reading all sorts of books about the zoo learning about all the animals. Up until yesterday, her favorite animal had been the lion! When you ask her "What does the lion say" she growls. Well, yesterday she fell in love with the gorilla! He was sitting up against the window so she was able to see him real close. When it was time to go, she said bye-bye to him and waved:) There weren't too many animals awake yesterday while we were there, but it was still a fun adventure! A big thanks to Grammy for getting us the free pass:)

Weekend with Thomas

For those of you who don't know, last month I "closed daycare." Thomas is now going to a school closer to his house, and Boo and I are about to go to a new child center ourselves. It was a very hard decision to make, but everyone is doing well. So, long story short, b/c the kids aren't together daily anymore, Kristy and I still want them to reamain close, so each month the kids visit each other overnight (aka all the parents get a break:)! This past weekend Thomas stayed with us, and we all had a blast! Boo and I picked him up at daycare Friday, went to get a happy meal, then came home and played! Thomas and Mackenzie were right back into the swing of thngs! Thomas has a new favorite toy at our house too (sorry Chris) Mackenzie's toy stroller! He would push it every where and anywhere! On Saturday we went to visit Greg's family at a campground, and the kids had a blast there as well....just exploring it all! When we got home Saturday night, the kids took a bath and had so much fun splashing each other! It is nice that they are so close:)

Oh Booskie!

This is her new spot to watch her favorite TV show Jakers on PBS! She looks so innocent doesn't she:)

Rain, Rain, Go Away

Boo had a blast playing outside in the rain the other week! We used bowls to catch the rain, and then pour the water out....most of the time on her!

2nd Haircut

Earlier this week, I took Mackenzie to get her 2nd haircut! She loves being "pampered" while getting her hair cut with animal crackers, bubbles, and special videos! Although the one picture makes Boo look sad, she DID have a great time:)

Race For the Cure

Back in June, Mackenzie "ran" her 1st Race For The Cure race! She wore a shirt that said "My Grammy is a Survivor" and everyone thought it was the cutest shirt ever! These pictures were taken after the walk....and should have been posted in June...oops:)

Big Girl

Mackenzie is working on feeding herself with a fork! YEAH!!! She does really well, but sometimes she needs a little help getting the food to stay on the fork! What a big girl:)

Playground

In our new neighborhood, there is a huge playground that Mackenzie seems to really enjoy! Her favorite thing is the tunnel slide! She zips down it, and gets up and does the sign for "more." We haven't figured out if she likes the swings or not yet. She points to the swings, and we put her in and push her, and at first she is laughing and having a good time, then she starts to turn a little...ah green! I'm sure we will be spending lots of time at the new playground:)
